Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 5GB Features
Nvidia Pascal
The latest Nvidia 10-series cards including the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 5GB is powered by Nvidia Pascal – the world’s most advanced GPU gaming architecture. Brand new VR experiences are now available as well as the latest technologies from Nvidia. This includes Nvidia Ansel, G-Sync and also 3D Vision.
5GB GDDR5 Memory
Exclusive to China, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 5GB is mainly aimed at the mass amount of internet cafes. This card runs off of the GPU variant GP106-350-K3-A1 and most notably has 5GB of GDDR5 Memory. This extra memory is required for gaming cafes which need more than the 3GB GTX 1060 but at a cheaper cost. The CUDA Cores, transistor count, ROPs, Texture Units as well as clocks are the same as the 6GB version of this card. However the memory interface width and bandwidth have been decreased to 160-Bit and 160 GB/s respectively.
