AMD Radeon RX 6800 features

Manufactured by AMD, the Radeon RX 6800 16GB is on RDNA 2.0 7nm architecture. It features 3840 Stream processors and the GPU is operating at a frequency of 1825 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2250 MHz. Moreover, the memory is running at 2000 MHz and there are 26.8 billion transistors, 240 texture units and a further 96 ROPs.

The AMD Radeon RX 6800 has 16 GB GDDR6 memory which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. Also the card has a memory interface width of 256-bit coupled with a memory bandwidth of 512.0 GB/s.

This particular graphics card contains OpenCL 2.1, OpenGL 4.6 and has the shader model 6.5. Furthermore, the card is both G-Sync/FreeSync compatible and VR ready however it does not support RGB lighting nor is it crossfire ready. Additional technologies include: 4K H264 Decode, 4K H264 Encode, HDMI 4K Support, AV1 Decode.

The maximum digital resolution that can be supported is 7680 x 4320. I/O ports include Display Port 1.4 with DSC, HDMI 2.1 and USB-c. It has the interface PCIe 4.0 x16 and requires 2×8 pin power connector. Its recommended system power 650 W and the graphics card’s power is 250 W.
