AMD Radeon RX 590 Features
The AMD Radeon RX 590 features 2304 Stream Processors and a base clock of 1469 MHz which is great for gaming. There is plenty of memory with 8GB of fast GDDR5 memory. This graphics card supports VR and has great features such as: Liquid VR, Freesync, AMD Chill, AMD Relive, as well as AMD PowerTune Technology.
AMD Radeon RX 590 is on their Polaris 30 architecture with a 12nm process size. On board there are 36 compute units, 32 ROPs and in addition to 144 texture units. This makes the card ideal for gaming.
For connectivity, there are 3 Display Ports supporting 1.4 HDR and 1 HDMI with 4k60 support. This however can change depending on the manufacturer of your card.
The card requires 1 single 8 pin connector. It is recommended to use a power supply greater than 450W as this card uses 175W on average.
The memory Clock of the RX 590 is 8Gbps and it has a memory interface width of 256-bit. The memory bandwith is 256 GB/s. This allows good, quick transfer between the card and the video memory.
The Maximum resolution is 7680 x 4320 but the recommended resolution that can be run is 3840×2160 @ 120Hz. This allows for a 4k monitor to be connected and still run at 120 Hz.
